Join us as we learn about volunteerism at the Lake Placid Food Pantry (basement of St. Agnes Church) with a read aloud, discussion, and tour in advance of our Martin Luther King, Jr., National Day of Service.

Programs are geared for families with children in Kindergarten – Grade 6, but other ages are welcome. Free parking is available in the St. Agnes parking lot on Hillcrest Ave. For questions, call 518-523-3200 or email librarian@lakeplacidlibrary.org.

Saturday, Jan. 20th 10:15 Join us as we welcome author and playwright Calvin Alexander Ramsey for a read aloud and discussion of his children’s books. The Bookstore Plus will be on hand with copies of Calvin’s books for sale. Recommended for families with children in grades 1-6, but other ages are welcome.
