There’s a lot more than
books on our agenda.

Events Calendar

For more than a century, the Lake Placid Public Library has been one of our community’s cultural hubs. Literature is at the heart of what we offer—we host authors, a weekly children’s story hour every Friday, and provide a Summer Reading Program. But whether you’re looking for a rainy-day activity or a family-friendly event, you’ll find it here.
