Learn how to make your own coiled basket using raffia and yarn. Unless you are very speedy, this will be a project you will start at the library, then finish at home.
It’s a great way to use up your leftover and odd balls of yarn!
Adults and teens welcome.

It’s great way to use up odd bits of yarn. Since squares are worked individually and can be combined to make almost anything, it’s a great portable project for waiting rooms or long trips.

Archaeologist Dr. Hadley Kruczek-Aaron to speak on the life of Lyman Epps, a founding member of the library, his family, and the search for their homestead.
Dr. Hadley Kruczek-Aaron, professor of anthropology at SUNY Potsdam, has made local history and archaeology a focal point of her career. She was recently featured in the film Searching for Timbuctoo by Paul Miller, which documented her excavation site at John Brown’s Farm.
