Farmer’s markets are in full swing, and what better way to pick up your produce than in a hand-crocheted market bag? We will be making one in miniature so that you will have a chance to learn the whole process from start to finish. You will also be provided with a pattern for the full-size bag and the option to check out a kit with your library card. Materials will be provided, but you can bring your own if you would like.

This will be a class just about the basics. We will learn the chain, single crochet, double crochet, increase and decrease stitches.
Try out a new skill in a relaxed atmosphere. There will be no specific project to work on, but when you leave you will be equipped to try out a new project on your own. There will be crochet hooks and yarn to use. You are also welcome to bring your own.
