ARBOR DAY POSTER COMPETITION:

Students in grades 2-5 are invited to enter a poster competition as part of an Arbor Day celebration with the Lake Placid Tree Board! Posters with the theme of Trees for the Future should be brought to the library before May 19, when they will be picked up for judging. Everyone is invited to the Arbor Day celebration on Tuesday, May 26 at 5pm.

The Lake Placid Arbor Day Celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26 at 5pm. Location to be announced.

We are asking grades 2-5 to create a poster with the theme Trees for the future.

Pick up posters will be May 19. Judging of posters May 20 AM, by former art teachers (who enjoy this!!). Notification of winners Thursday May 21 or Friday May 22. We ask you to notify parents and invite them to the Arbor Day celebration, Tuesday May 26 at 5pm. Site to be arranged by Tree Board Chairperson. We hang all posters for all to see. Winners’ posters will also be shown at Community Day, May 31 at the ski jumps.
